Like the Wind
Who Am I?
Where am I going , I cannot for see. I am limited, uncertain.
Like I have a blindfold on my thoughts and abilities.
Ok, I am only human, most of us cannot fortell what tomorrow will bring.
Hoping for all of us it will bring, peace and joy in our hearts and the wisdom we need to help us along the way.
Like the wind.
Trying to be invisible , I cannot be, neither can you,
yet sometimes we try to be.
the pain inside too much to bare.
we need to hide the feelings we have.
Maybe everyone has something to hide.
Too bad we can't share our inner hearts cry.
Maybe tomorrow will bring some sunlight and joy.
Like the wind, let us be a breeze, to spread alittle
love to our family and friends.
We hope tomorrow will be a better day.
Like the wind......

A Journey of the Soul
A Journey of the Soul
The rain has come to cleanse my soul
The wind has blow away the fear
A calm and a peace settles over me
I can feel the hurt and anger disappear
My heart cries and my soul rejoices
The trees are talking to the sky
They dance a beautiful rain dance
I am honored to behold such a sight
I breathe deeply and deeper still
I feel my soul soar through the clouds
I catch a familiar aroma on the wind
I swear I heard someone whisper my name
I marvel at the world outside
A world covered in darkness
A world changing in ways unimaginable
I feel transformed through time
My journey now complete
I lift my head to look one more time
I close my eyes and say a small prayer
I know within one tiny heart beat my prayer
Was carried on angel wings straight to you

Nature Quotes - Quotes About Nature - Quotes on Nature
and earth, with her thousand voices, praises God. (2)
Flowers are the poetry of earth,
as stars are the poetry of heaven, (3)
and a leaf of grass is no less than the journey-work of the stars. (4)
Talk of mysteries! Think of our life in Nature -
daily to be shown matter, to come in contact with it -
rocks, trees, wind on our cheeks. The solid earth! (5)
All are but parts of one stupendous whole,
whose body Nature is, and God the soul. (6)"

Please Hear What I'm Not Saying
Please Hear What I'm Not Saying
Don't be fooled
by me.
Don't be fooled by the face I wear.
For I wear a
mask, a thousand masks,
masks that I'm afraid to take off,
and
none of them is me.
Pretending is an art that's second nature
with me,
but don't be fooled.
For God's sake don't be fooled.
I
give you the impression that I'm secure,
that all is sunny
and unruffled with me, within as well as without,
that confidence
is my name and coolness my game,
that the water's calm and
I'm in command,
and that I need no one.
But don't believe
me.
My surface may seem smooth but my surface is my mask,
ever-varying
and ever-concealing.
Beneath lis no complacence.
Beneath
lies confusion and fear and aloneness.
But I hide this. I
don't want anybody to know it.
I panic at the thought
of my weakness and fear being exposed.
That's why I frantically
create a mask to hide behind,
a nonchalant sophisticated facade,
to
help me pretend,
to shield me from the glance that knows.
But
such a glance is precisely my salvation.
My only hope and
I know it.
That is, if it's followed by acceptance,
if
it's followed by love.
It's the only thing that can liberate
me from myself,
from my own self-built prison walls,
from
the barriers I so painstakingly erect.
It's the only thing
that will assure me of what I can't assure myself,
that I'm
really worth something.
But I don't tell you this. I don't
dare. I'm afraid to.
I'm afraid your glance will not be followed
by acceptance,
will not be followed by love.
I'm afraid
you'll think less of me, that you'll laugh,
and that your
laugh would kill me.
I'm afraid that deep-down I'm nothing,
that I'm just no good,
and that you will see this and reject
me.
So I play my game,
my desperate pretending game,
with a facade of assurance without
and
a trembling child within.
So begins the glittering but empty
parade of masks,
and my life becomes a front.
I idly chatter
to you in the suave tones of surface talk.
I tell you everything
that's really nothing,
and nothing of what's everything,
of
what's crying within me.
So when I'm going through my routine,
do
not be fooled by what I'm saying.
Please listen carefully
and try to hear what I'm not saying,
what I'd like to be able
to say,
what for survival I need to say,
but what I can't
say.
I don't like to
hide.
I don't like to play superficial phony games.
I want
to stop playing them.
I want to be genuine and spontaneous
and me,
but you've got to help me.
You've got to hold out
your hand
even when that's the last thing I seem to want.
Only
you can wipe away from my eyes the blank stare of the breathing
dead.
Only you can call me into aliveness.
Each time you're
kind and gentle and encouraging,
each time you try to understand
because you really care,
my heart begins to grow wings,
very
small wings,
very feeble wings,
but wings!
With your
power to touch me into feeling
you can breathe life into me.
I
want you to know that.
I want you to know
how important you are to me,
how you can be a creator a honest-to-God
creator
of the person that is me
if you choose to.
You
alone can break down the wall behind which I tremble,
you
alone can remove my mask,
you alone can release me from my
shadow-world of panic
and uncertainty, from my lonely prison,
if
you choose to.
Please choose to. Do not pass me by.
It
will not be easy for you.
A long conviction
of worthlessness builds strong walls.
The nearer you approach
to me
the blinder I may strike back.
It's irrational, but
despite what the books say about man,
often I am irrational.
fight against the very thing that I cry out for. (my emphasis)
But
I am told that love is stronger than strong walls,
and in
this lies my hope.
Please try to beat down those walls
with
firm hands
but with gentle hands
for a child is very sensitive.
Who am I, you may
wonder?
I am someone you know very well.
For I am every
man you meet
and I am every woman you meet.

Heavenly Father, I need a new touch...
For yesterday's touch has faded away!
I need a new touch from You to come,
I need a fresh touch from You today!
I thought Your touch had come to stay.
But all too soon it has faded away.
As storm clouds gathered, then became,
Gray skies full of lightning and rain!
Jesus, if You will give me a new touch,
I will have the strength to live again;
Free from sin and all kinds of strife,
As Your healing touch soothes my pain.
Lord, with a brand new touch from You,
In the darkest night, I can make it through,
Forever, You will be my guiding light,
A touch from You will make things right!
By Your side Lord, I always wish to stay...
Never again, will I choose to go astray!
For by faith Jesus, I know You are the One,
Who came to take the storm clouds away
Glory be to Jesus...I thank You very much,
For the love that gave me a brand new touch.
A touch that has taken all of my fears away,
A touch I can depend upon, come what may!

It is only a tiny rosebud,
A flower of God's design.
But I can't unfold the petals,
With these hands of mine.
The way of unfolding flowers
Is not know to such as I,
The flower God opens sweetly
In my hands would surely die.
If I can't unfold a rosebud,
this flower of God's design,
Then how can I have wisdom
to unfold this life of mine.
So I will trust him to lead me
Each moment of every day,
and I'll ask Him to guide me
each step of the way.
For the pathway before me
My heavenly Father knows
and I'll trust him to unfold it
Just as He unfolds the rose.

A psalm of David.
1 Ascribe to the LORD , O mighty ones,
ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
2 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name;
worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.
3 The voice of the LORD is over the waters;
the God of glory thunders,
the LORD thunders over the mighty waters.
4 The voice of the LORD is powerful;
the voice of the LORD is majestic.
5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars;
the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
6 He makes Lebanon skip like a calf,
Sirion like a young wild ox.
7 The voice of the LORD strikes
with flashes of lightning.
8 The voice of the LORD shakes the desert;
the LORD shakes the Desert of Kadesh.
9 The voice of the LORD twists the oaks
and strips the forests bare.
And in his temple all cry, "Glory!"
10 The LORD sits enthroned over the flood;
the LORD is enthroned as King forever.
11 The LORD gives strength to his people;
the LORD blesses his people with peace.
The Discontented Primrose
There is a little fable which says that a primrose, growing by itself in a shady corner of the garden, became discontented as it saw the other flowers in their gay beds in the sunshine, and begged to be removed to a more conspicuous place. Its prayer was granted. The gardener transplanted it to a more showy and sunny spot. It was greatly pleased, but there came a change over it immediately. Its blossoms lost much of their beauty, and became pale and sickly. The hot sun caused them to faint and wither. So it prayed again to be taken back to its old place in the shade.
The wise gardener knew best where to plant each flower. So God, the Divine Husbandman, knows where His children will best grow into what He would have them to be. Some require the fierce storms; some will only thrive spiritually in the shadow of worldly adversity; and some come to ripeness more sweetly under the soft and gentle influences of prosperity, whose beauty rough experiences would mar. Humbolt, the great naturalist and traveler, said that the most wonderful sight he had ever seen was a primrose flourishing on the bosom of a glacier.
"The brightest souls which glory ever knew
Were rocked in storms and nursed when tempests blew."

Of David.
1 To you, O LORD , I lift up my soul;
2 in you I trust, O my God.
Do not let me be put to shame,
nor let my enemies triumph over me.
Psalm35:9 Then my soul will rejoice in the LORD
and delight in his salvation.
10 My whole being will exclaim,
"Who is like you, O LORD ?
You rescue the poor from those too strong for them,
the poor and needy from those who rob them."
Psalm62:5 Find rest, O my soul, in God alone;
my hope comes from him.
6 He alone is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
HE LIFTS MY SOUL*
He lifts my soul to the highest plain, He gives me strength to fly again,he gives me a joy that fills my soul, to walk this long and winding road. He gives me peace, like a river it fills my soul, calming the raging storm inside. That's been stirring in me for such a long time. He gives me love that never fails,on His wings of love I'll sail. He heals my broken heart and stills the fear inside. He has saved me from all sin in my life. I lift my soul in praise to Thee, My wonderful Lord has set me free. New Testament Matthew 11
28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Colossians3:1Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. 2Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
I HAVE SET MY HEART * I have set my heart on things above ,I have set my hope in the One I love . I look to Jesus , my life is in His hands . I have set my mind to follow His commands . My Jesus Sits at God's right hand , I have set my gaze toward the skies. .I call to Him and He hears my cries. My life is now hidden with Christ in God. I have died to self and in Him I belong. I have set my heart, on Jesus my Lord , I have set my hope in the One I love . By Wanda Jess ,Dec1(c)2004 My Groups-PSALMS4ALL MINISTERIES**Prayer Group

21
21 And Jesus went away from there into the country of Tyre and Sidon. 22 And a woman of Canaan came out from those parts, crying and saying, Have pity on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is greatly troubled with an unclean spirit. 23 But he gave her no answer. And his disciples came and said to him, Send her away, for she is crying after us. 24 But he made answer and said, I was sent only to the wandering sheep of the house of Israel. 25 But she came and gave him worship, saying, Help, Lord. 26 And he made answer and said, It is not right to take the children's bread and give it to the dogs. 27 But she said, Yes, Lord: but even the dogs take the bits from under their masters' table. 28 Then Jesus, answering, said to her, O woman, great is your faith: let your desire be done. And her daughter was made well from that hour.
Colors Of The Wind - Vanessa Williams | Listen music - Demo Music
Earth is just a dead thing you can claim
But I know every rock and tree and creature
Has a life, has a spirit, has a name
Think the only people who are people
Are the people who look and think like you
But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger
You learn things you never knew
You never knew
* Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon?
Or ask the grinning bobcat why he grinned
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
Come run the hidden pinetrails of the forest
Come taste the sun-sweet berries of the earth
Colors Of The Wind lyrics on
http://music.yeucahat.com/song/Movie-Game-Ads/78-Colors-Of-The-Wind~Vanessa-Williams.html
Come roll in all the riches all around you
And for once never wonder what they're worth
The rainstorm and the rivers are my brothers
And the heron and the otter are my friends
And we are all connected to each other
In a circle in a hoop that never ends
[Repeat *]
How high does the sycamore grow
If you cut it down, then you'll never know
And you'll never hear the wolf cry
To the blue corn moon
Or whether we are white or copper-skinned
We need to sing with all the voices of the mountains
To paint with all the colors of the wind
You can own the Earth and still all you'll own is earth
Until you can paint with all the colors of the wind"
