Daddy Jesus

This is a poem dedicated to a friend I lost touch with, last I heard she had lost her way from Jesus, her name is Ina, she was a very giving person, and when I had known her she taught me something, I have never forgot, for most of my life I have been afraid of the father image, just recently I have learned some very valuable lessons, which brought me back to my friend, Ina.
Please keep her in your prayers and I would love very much to see her again and know how she is doing.


Daddy Jesus

Daddy Jesus, my Father in heaven above,
You are special to me because,
you have given me hope,
you have given me love,
but most important, You died because
You loved,
As I sit upon Your knee,
Daddy Jesus, please hold me please,
I have some things I need to share,
and I need you to listen, I need You to know,
How much I love you, and cherish you deep in my heart.
Daddy, Daddy Jesus,
I also needed to tell you about my hurts and my cares,
about my joys and my sorrows,
Daddy, Oh Daddy, how I need You,
to hold me when I cry,
to dance with me when I am happy,
I want to stay forever here on Your knee Daddy,
and listen to Your voice, Your sweet tender voice,
it sounds like sweet music to my ears.
Daddy Jesus, just hold my hand,
cause I am not sure of this day and what it brings.
Daddy Daddy, You are special to me,
each moment of the day we share each others thoughts
and dreams.
It is so wonderful sitting here, on your knee,
I love to hear all the wonderful and beautiful words
You share with me,
words of hope, words of love, words of life.
Daddy Jesus, You are the sunshine of my life,
and I know I can share with You anything,
and You will not be angry or judge me wrong.
For Your words are just and true,
and I know You have forgiven me,
and You love me with a unfailing love.
Daddy Jesus, You will always come first in my life,
where could I go, who else has the words of life,
only You Daddy, Only You.
Daddy Jesus, I am so glad You know me,
I am so happy to be Your child, Your princess
I would be so happy to do what You ask,
to follow You all my days,
I love You Daddy,and as I sit here on Your knee,
I feel Your peace and Your love for me,
it fills me with comfort and I feel safe and secure.
Daddy Jesus, I am so glad You came into my life,
I just wanted You to know Daddy,
what was in my heart,
Thank You Jesus, so so much,
for being my Daddy.
