HE IS EVER WITH ME

He is ever with me, and I shall never fear,
for He walks each day beside me,
and though the world causes doubt and fear,
and there is always some storm raging near,
I shall never fear.
He is ever with me, through sunshine and rain,
many a storm shall pass my way,
yet I know within my heart, my Jesus
holds my hand and I can go anywhere,
with Him I will always stand.
He is ever with me and sickness has no hold,
for in His word it says plainly by His stripes
I am made whole.
And though the world may not see it yet,
I will always trust His word.
He is ever with me , and through this life there
will be pain,
He has never yet failed me,
for I believe and trust His word.
He is ever with me, and He loves me this I know,
For in His precious word it tells me so.
I will forever cling to my Savior,
and praise His glorious Name,
And thank for each day,
I never have to walk alone
and I shall never have to fear.
