THE ONE I LOVE*

All night long I waited and I prayed for the one my heart desires.
I searched within and without, but could not find Him.
I searched my heart, my soul, my heart crys out for Him.
Day and night I will not rest till I find rest in His arms,
Nothing can satisfy me. but His Love.
I am like a well that has gone dry.
I am thirsty and I won't give up till I find the one my heart desires.

I will pray, I will not give up hope.
My Lord, My Lord, at long last there He was,
I ran to Him, like a child who longs for the safety of her Father's arms,
and fell deep into His embrace.
I will not let Him go,I will hold on to the one I love.
