Is so much a gift
One of those miracles
God gave to uplift

The love of a true friend
Never will die
A lasting bond
Between you and I

The love of a true friend
Forever will last
Strong and so sturdy
As a ships unyielding main mast

To The Lord

Talk to the Lord
With your own prayer
If only to be reminded
He truly is there

Look to the Lord
When you are troubled
And the evil around you
Seems to be doubled

Sing out to the Lord
Loud as you might
Sharing the music
That will spread His light

Reach for the Lord
He will take your hand
Leading you into
His Holy Land

Life Is A Miracle


Life is a miracle
Don't let it slip away,
Open your heart to others
Give of yourself each day.

See the beauty in everyone
Regardless of where they've been,
Some have a difficult journey
And really need a friend.

Share your gifts and talents
Listen with your heart.
Do the things you dream about
But don't have time to start.

Pick a bouquet of flowers
Show someone that you care,
Be gracious and forgiving
Life is never fair.

Hold on to your courage
You may need it down the road,
We all have a cross to bear
It could be a heavy load.

If you practice all these things
No matter where you roam,
You may find both sun and rain
But you'll never feel alone!

GREATEST BLESSINGS

I've come to realize over the years
that the every day things
are our greatest blessing
the food on the table
our country, our homes
our family , our friends
our heath and well-being
the very air we breathe
and the sunshine that warms the earth
and it's these things that we
should be most greatful for
as we celebrate thankgiving
for they give us comfort and strength
filling our hearts with gladness
and making everyday meanful
and it's my thanksgiving wish
as at my family and friends
gather to celebrate thanksgiving
that they will remeber to be thankful
for the simple blessings
they receive everyday

Heartprints


Whatever our hands touch---
We leave fingerprints!
On walls, on furniture,
On doorknobs, dishes, books,
As we touch we leave our identity.

Oh please where ever I go today,
Help me leave heartprints!
Heartprints of compassion
Of understanding and love.
Heartprints of kindness
and genuine concern.

May my heart touch a lonely neighbor
Or a runaway daughter,
Or an anxious mother,
Or, perhaps, a dear friend!

I shall go out today
To leave heartprints,
And if someone should say
"I felt your touch,"
May that one sense be...YOUR LOVE

Father – I Owe You


Father, please forgive me if I ever take You for granted, or the sacrifice of blood that Your Son Yahshua (Jesus) made on my behalf. Sometimes I get so caught up in the cares and worries of my own life that I forget all You have done for me.

Even though I know better, I’ve acted as though You were predictable and that You owe me something when in fact, it is I who owe You. Help me to always remember that I have been made in Your image and not You in mine.


Wake me up LORD – again and again – please wake me up! Let me see Your goodness and majesty in every new sunrise and every starry night. Guide me in Your wisdom and truth through the timeless words of Your Holy Book. Let me be there to answer the cry of all the hurting people around me.


Help me to walk with You today as You show me a world I have never seen before. O Creator, Father, Savior, LORD and King, let this day mark the beginning of a new found appreciation in my heart for the love and blessings You continually bestow upon me. And may You find me worthy someday to share paradise with You

Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God is the object of our faith; the only faith that saves is faith in Him.
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.

Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift:

Blessed is the man who endures trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life which God has promised to those who love him.

Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted with evil and he himself tempts no one; but each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin; and sin when it is full-grown brings forth death.Jesus is coming to set all straight and you may have no time to wait.
For no one knows the day or hour when He’ll return in all His Power.
And every eye will see that day when all His power He does display.

The power He set aside for me when He chose to die upon that tree.
He had the power to save His life but He chose to be our sacrifice.
But unlike a sacrifice that lay dead, The Lord my friend rose again.

And in the view of many men, back up to Heaven Christ did ascend.
As they looked intently in the sky, they may have asked how and why.
Then two angels appeared on the way with the following words to say,
This same Jesus that did ascend is coming back the same way again.

From this you and I should learn we should be looking for His return.
To believers Christ sent His Power to teach about that awesome hour,
Although Christ died, He rose again, to become the Savior of all men.

The power He could have used was a power that He could not lose.
Jesus Christ set aside His Majesty, but as God, retained His Deity.
He will return in Total Majesty and again, every single eye will see.

Many on that day will perish refusing to embrace The Lord we cherish,
As Christ destroys the man of sin, with the brightness of His coming.
While men who wait in every nation, to them He brings His Salvation.
It may be today or tomorrow, so embrace Him now and have no sorrow.
I know these are trying times
I pray you have a wonderful day
Remember that God is with you
And that God will show you the way.

God loves all of his children
And he listens every time we pray
No matter how bad times seem to get
Know that God will always make a way.

Never lose sight of God
He will never lose sight of you
He'll carry you through the worst of times
He's with you through all that you do.

We're going through some trying times
You're in my prayer when I pray
Remember that God is always with you
