 This Prayer is very Powerful!

*Topic: BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS

*Scripture: Joshua 1:9

Courage is facing life’s challenges with the help and direction of God. Courage is being resolute in the face of great trials. Courage is being strong and steadfast in the ways of God, even if you’re the only one! By the grace of God, you can make a difference! You can change the whole direction of your family tree! You can stand up in the face of fear, hardship, and peer pressure, and lead others into whole new way of life! What God said to Joshua, he’s saying to us, “You’re not alone, every step of your life, I’ll be there. I’ve not forgotten you. I am with you. You need only to be strong and courageous. Follow me, keep my word, and I will bless you wherever you go.”

Courage comes from trusting God. It can’t be mentally drummed up. It comes from believing what God says regardless of what the circumstances look like. Courage comes from faith! Where does discouragement come from? From fear and unbelief. It comes when you listen to the devil’s lies about what God is not going to do for you. As the people of God, you and I must shake off discouragement and rise up with courage! We must quit looking at our own abilities and failures and limitations and start looking to God. We must rise up in the Name of Jesus and the power of His Spirit and establish the kingdom of heaven upon earth.

If you’ve been discouraged lately, stop listening to Satan’s lies. Stop receiving evil reports. Whenever someone tells you God is not going to deliver you, you just tell them, “He’s already delivered me in the Name of Jesus.” Once you begin to realize who you are and what you’ve been given by the power of God, you’ll quit letting the devil run all over you. God didn’t suggest that you be strong and courageous. That is His command!

Prayer Points

1. Heavenly Father, I come before you today. Please give me the courage to overcome all fears in the name of Jesus (Deut 31:6)

2. In any area of my life that I have been a coward – deliver me! set me free! in the name of Jesus

3. In any area that my past stupid decisions have turned me to a “chicken”, Have mercy on me and make me an EAGLE in the name of Jesus

4. Father, please encourage me to do your will in all things in the name of Jesus.

5. Lord, please release to me the courage to forgive everyone that have offended me in the name of Jesus.

6. Everlasting Father, please give me the courage and serenity to accept what you will not change for me in the name of Jesus.

7. Father, please give the courage and the boldness to kill every Goliath in my life (Goliath of laziness; Goliath of procrastination; Goliath of besetting sin, etc) in the name of Jesus.

8. Father, please give me the courage to love those who hate me in the name of Jesus (Matt. 6:15).

9. Everlasting Father, please give the courage to preach the gospel of Christ in the name of Jesus (1Cor. 9:16-17).

10. Heavenly Father, please give me the courage to stand up for Christ even when those around me are denying Him in the name of Jesus.

11. Father, please give the courage to pursue and take back every lost glory in the name of Jesus (1Sam. 30:6, 6:8, 6:18).

12. Father, give me the courage to overcome all form of defeats in the name of Jesus

13. Almighty Father, please give the courage to overcome every temptation in the name of Jesus.

14. Father as I made up my mind to be courageous, let courage take me from obscurity to fame in the name of Jesus.

15. Every weakness that is killing my progress, I terminate you today! in the name of Jesus.

16. Father, let the kind of courage and boldness that came over Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego be release unto me as from today in the name of Jesus (Dan. 3:16-18)

17. The power to bring forth, the power to excel, the power to give birth to the dreams you have given me – give me in the name of Jesus

18. Every Goliath – physical and spiritual, you will bow in my life in the name of Jesus

19. In every area where I have been oppressed -Lord, send my David in the name of Jesus

20. I decree, with your courage and strength, I will pursue, overtake and UNFAILINGLY recover ALL! in the name of Jesus
