HERE I AM, AGAIN

Here I am again,
still walking this road ,
where do I go from here.
Lord, there are times when I just want
to turn around and head back,
then I remember,
back to the pain, back to the the memories
that brought me shame.
So Lord here I am, when you call I will go,
until then I will stay on this road,
with Your hand in mine,
guiding my way.
You take the heavy load and You carry
it for me.
You shine Your light guiding my way.
Here I am again, still walking this road,
the pathway maybe filled with sorrows and joys,
but with You beside me, I can share my heart
with my closest and dearest friend at my side.
Sometimes Jesus I just want to hide
safe in Your arms and let You dry all my tears.
For I know You understand and can relate
to all of my pain and all of my shame.
Here I am again, still walking this road,
and until that day when You call me home.
I will do my best to keep my focus on You.
Through sunshine and rain,
Through my sorrows and pain,
I take Your hand and I know I will be,
safe and secure ,
Lord I know Your word is true and
it will stay that way for all eternity.
You are my guiding light,
my strong tower, my shield and my guide.
Your the shepherd of my heart, and You will
forever abide.
In my heart, Lord I love You,
and thank you for giving me life.
Here I am Again.
