Too Much To Gain

As I look back, on my life with Lord,
sometimes questions arise and cause me stop
and think, should I turn back or continue on
this road.
Then my heart replies to the answers I seek,
I have too much to gain, to lose.
So many treasures I have been given,
on this journey I'm on,
Is it worth turning back and loosing it all.
The greatest of treasures cannot be replaced,
Is the One who lives in this heart of mine,
Jesus my Lord.

The road that I am on can be hard at times,
with many trials and storms, I find it hard
to see at times,
But there are also blessings and joys that
out weigh the trials and storms.
Are all these things worth giving up?
I can say from my heart, even when times,
are at their worst.
I have too much to gain, to lose.
For the treasure in my heart is worth more
than anything in this world.
Jesus my Savior and to lose Him,
I would be lost, in this life of mine.

Looking back at all of my life, all the material
treasures I have are worth nothing at all.
Sometimes I just want to give up the fight,
but to lose my precious Savior,
it would be such a great loss.
For my love for Him, fills first place
in my life.
I have too much to gain, too lose
My heart and life, belongs to my Lord,
and I know with Him beside me,
He will never lead me wrong.
The winds may blow and I may fall
to my feet,
Yet Jesus is there and picks me up
and I continue to walk on this road.

Looking ahead, it may not all seem grand,
but I am looking to Jesus and His beauty
I behold,
There is too much to gain to lose my friend,
think for a minute on what you would lose,
and continue on this journey, and focus on
Him, the pearl of great price.
For there is too much to gain, to lose.
