By My Side

As I rise in the early morn,
I hear the birds singing, their morning song.
As I listen I can hear, Jesus
whispering soft and clear.
Arise my child, I am here.
As I rise to greet a new day,
He speaks to me, His words so dear.
To my heart , it is very clear,
Jesus is there by my side.
My heart awakes with joy inside,
knowing my Lord is there by my side.
He fills my soul, with a beautiful song,
He keeps my heart longing for more and more.
What a wonderful friend, I have found
In Him, with Jesus by my side,
I can only win.
Wonderful Lord,He truely is,
filling my soul with sweet desire,
Lifting me up, higher and higher.
Filling my heart, this new day He brings,
Singing a song, for my Savior and King.
